Lance Dreesen

Producer/Writer/Director An internationally award-winning filmmaker, Lance Dreesen is a member of the Writers Guild of America and partner in an independent film production company, Red Five Entertainment, Inc., with offices in Los Angeles, California and Atlanta, Georgia. He is also a film acting and writing instructor.
Dreesen's directorial debut, Terror Tract (which he also produced) was both a critical and financial success. Starring John Ritter (8 Simple Rules, Sling Blade), Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle, Breaking Bad) and Carmine Giovinazzo (CSI: New York), Terror Tract was purchased by USA Films, and has won top honors at film festivals in Europe and the United States. The film also enjoyed a theatrical release in France and Latin America.
The World Premiere of Dreesen’s latest film, The Way Home (which he wrote and directed), was recently held at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. Starring Dean Cain (Lois & Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman, Out Of Time) the film is an inspirational true story about the search for a missing two year-old child and the crisis of faith the parents and community endure. The Way Home will be released worldwide in October 2010.
Dreesen’s previous writing and directing effort, Big Bad Wolf, starring Richard Tyson (Black Hawk Down, There’s Something About Mary) and Kimberly J. Brown (Be Cool, Bringing Down the House), was released by Universal Home Video in June 2007. The film has received rave reviews and won top honors at the Houston International Film Festival. Dreesen also produced the supernatural thriller Conjurer, starring Andrew Bowen (MadTV) and John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville), which is now available on DVD.
Dreesen's writing credits include Charlie's Ghost Story for Crystal Sky Entertainment, a feature film directed by Anthony Edwards (ER, Top Gun) and starring Edwards and Cheech Marin (Spy Kids, Judging Amy). Dreesen also co-wrote Arthur's Quest, starring Ayre Gross (Minority Report). He has also written and developed projects for numerous production companies and studios, including Universal Pictures and Fox Television.
